Snowmageddon 2010

Just like everyone else, we got snow. Lots of snow.

Splash Lagoon 2010

This year was Simon's first trip to Splash Lagoon. Last year, he stayed with Dawne and Steve (we did a trade for Natalie that weekend), because he was too young to enjoy it. This year, after only a few moments of initial uneasiness, he overcame his reluctance and enjoyed himself. His usual "no fear" attitude came out and he was soon going down the baby slides by himself.

In fact, he had the lifeguard blow the whistle on him more than once for going down on his belly, head first. (Too bad I didn't get a video of that. He was smiling all the way down.) That's why I'm yelling "Sit down! Sit down!" in this video as he makes his approach to the slide. It was the only way to come close to hoping that he'd go down the way he was supposed to.
